Early this year, Bottega Veneta released a rather odd-looking handbag I’m not sure was designed by a person with the right frame of mind. Take a look at the whole thing:
If not for the really white and clean look, I could’ve sworn this bag was garbage left to be played with by cats believing it was their scratching post.
Bottega Veneta normally does away with bold pieces and stick with the classic and simple designs. This is coming out of their comfort zone and releasing a bag that surely does let one do a double take, but for the wrong reasons.

I really love how simple but elegant this clutch’s design is. I also love that it’s only $79.90! The snakeskin leather is faux, of course. But the bag looks really smashing and first-rate.

I’m really becoming more and more impressed with the way Victoria Beckham handles her handbag line. She really does know what she’s doing and has been coming up with impressive pieces that can rival her personal favorite handbag lines the Hermes or Louis Vuitton.

Deviating away from all those other handbags that have the buckles on it, like the Proenza Schouler or the Cambridge Satchel, this YSL model is actually a good alternative.
This handbag comes in a compact size, with a clear and simple style. It is done in Ivory, which I think looks really slick, because the handbag also comes in another color (Tan). Here, the Y golden hardware really stood out, but isn’t overpowering its overall look.
I find that this YSL Chyc shoulder bag is fitting for the office, but it may also be carried around during a warm afternoon stroll or a trip to the mall.
Inside, the handbag has a few missing components, like the pockets and leather lining. If you’re into bags with extra compartments from the inside, then this could be an issue for you.
Style-wise, it’s close to perfection!
