Steve Madden creates handbags that are amazingly stylish and durable for less than the price you would expect. Some would say the designs are actually copies of higher end brands. But that is why Steve Madden is so sellable!
Here’s another Steve Madden collection that is perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months. These are bright patent tote bags in gorgeously vibrant colors. There is obviously a lot of room in the bag, which makes it perfect for getaways and weekend trips.
It’s not totally a casual bag, however, as the detailing, such as its metal hardware on the straps, delivers a hint of sophistication. The handbag looks very chic but functional and for just under $100, it’s definitely a bargain!
You can get this at Dillards.

Every once in a while, I find an oddly-shaped handbag that I think is worth a feature here on the blogs, just because it is simply interesting. I never know how to use bags that are designed so frivolously. But because they look different and whimsical, owning one is probably worth it.
This piece from Bodhi is one of those handbags I could classify as odd. Just take a look at how it’s formed:
With it’s name, it’s safe to say that this was inspired by Asian temples, particularly Japanese Temple. This handbag simply draws attention because of the way it is constructed.
When carried on the shoulders, this is how it looks:
I can’t say much for fuctionality, but this handbag is quite like art. Would you carry one around with you?
You can get this handbag from Nordstrom.

I’ve been seeing plenty of bags that have this huge rose or rosette in the front, covering the entire width of the handbag. I think that I’ve come across this the first time from Valentino design:
Valentino Blossom Satchel Bag
Yves Saint Laurent also has something similar, which apparently is already sold out. This number below came out sometime n 2003, from the brand’s spring collection. Pieces of it crop up now and then on auction sites like Ebay:
Yves Saint Laurent Nadja Black Rose Leather Shoulder Bag
I found a more affordable version from a lesser known handbag brand at Amazon. And this rosetted handbag comes to an easy $22 only and comes in just the right size:
Rose Handbag from Fash
I also love this piece, which is priced at only $35. Large, fun, functional and flirty, it comes in two colors — black and blue.
Audra Floral Tote
These handbags are perfect for carrying along during spring or summer!

Clava handbags started out as a family owned corporation, whose business has existed for over three decades. It started with the creation of a bag at a college dormitory, the name has now become a lifestyle brand. The company delivers elegantly crafted handbags, accessories and luggages that never goes out of style. Their items are also affordable.
Clava is short for CLAudio Vasquez, the founder and president, who created the first design when he was a twenty year old college student.
In 2009, the company launched its vegan line of handbags and since then, their designs have been featured in fashion magazines and lifestyle magazines such as Oprah and People. The handbags have also been featured in various TV programs in the USA.

I didn’t think Coach also does summer handbags like this. It’s the Straw Natalie Shopper Bag Tote and if you look closely, this handbag has snakeskin, as well, and serves as a nice accent to it. The handbag does look a bit sophisticated and may even be carried even or use for fall or winter wear, and not just for the beach.
I love that it’s so spacious inside:
Liven up your wardrobe with this handbag, which is selling for $239 at Amazon.
