Early this year, Bottega Veneta released a rather odd-looking handbag I’m not sure was designed by a person with the right frame of mind. Take a look at the whole thing:
If not for the really white and clean look, I could’ve sworn this bag was garbage left to be played with by cats believing it was their scratching post.
Bottega Veneta normally does away with bold pieces and stick with the classic and simple designs. This is coming out of their comfort zone and releasing a bag that surely does let one do a double take, but for the wrong reasons.

Sandra Bullock’s Kate Spade Westward Adventurer Satchel
The first thing that came to mind when I saw this handbag from Miu Miu is my sister’s pet Maltese. This handbag is begging to be pet and cuddled. And I normally wouldn’t give fluffy bags a second look, but there’s something extra-ordinary about this piece from Miu Miu.
A handbag like this is made for the cold Winter season and because it’s a top handle with a detachable strap, it can be carried in many different ways. Strap it on or carry it with one hand, this handbag should blend perfectly well with your coordinated Winter wardrobe.
I also like that it doesn’t look too overpowering, even with all that shear. You would not be afraid of looking like you’re carrying a muppet with you. The handbag looks absolutely trendy.

Mini Shearling Handbag from Miu Miu
I realize that spring is literally still seasons away but I can’t help but check out spring bags this early and my eyes are drawn to those gorgeous applique bags in cream or nude shades. I prefer them in that neutral color because the bag’s design, as it is, is already overpowering that I like something that can blend with the wardrobe.
There are two designs I’m eyeing. One is affordably low-end and the other is a designer handbag with a hefty price tag. Both bags, however, would look really perfect for the season as well as for wearing day and night.

The drawback is because it’s synthetic, it’s the kind of bag that will only last you up to a couple of years, and by then, the piece would look worn out.

The only downside to this is the price, which costs an arm and a leg.
Two Flower Applique Bags, Low-End and High-End
I found another piece to go with the fashionable color blocking trend.
This is the Lita Handbag and its hip design is something you cannot ignore. I like the choices of basic colors that come together in this piece. Its craftmanship is intricate and detailed, made of soft suede leather. I also love that the handbag is oversized but lightweight.
