I have little love for fur or even faux fur. It’s the kind of fashion I don’t really know how to carry but since fashion is something that can be developed, I’m willing to try out wearing something with faux fur for the season, when it’s one of the trendiest. It isn’t easy to rock, but I guess I could start off with handbags lined with faux fur. Some of my choices for this are the ones below:
This fur satchel from Kenneth Cole is structured but hardly boring. It’s looks basic but comes with a twist. The combination of faux fur and leather makes this handbag more interesting. The handbag is also totally useful as it is filled with multi pockets and compartments inside. This keeps one stylish and organized.
leather and faux fur bag front flap with turn-lock closure top handle with 3″ drop detachable shoulder strap front-wall split-patch cell pocket back-wall zip pocket Kenneth Cole logo jacquard lining 13″ wide, 10″ high, 3″ deep imported
Availabe at Kenneth Cole.
I instantly love the style of this Mohair Garden tote from Prada. This piece has soft faux fur in light color, which I think looks clean and simple. The handbag also comes with a heritage tag.
Double top handles, 6½” drop Top snap closure Two inside zip pockets One inside open pocket Signature jacquard lining 18″W X 10″H X 10″D Made in Italy
Available at Sak’s Fifth Avenue.
This Forzieri wicker handbag with faux fur I think looks fun but classy at the same time. It would be perfect for daytime wear. Inside, the handbag comes with zip pockets. It’s closure is only a cord, though. It’s cute, but I think I’d like if it were more secure.
Three Gorgeous Bags With Fur
It was Chanel who made chain strap bags a classic staple in a woman’s wardrobe and today, the newest designs that are out come in really cool styles and variations of the original chain strap.
The handbags look more elegant with the chains for some reason. And here are a few other picks that give the chain strap a whole new vibe:
Rebecca Minkoff Camo Printed Leather ‘Mac’ at Bluefly
This bag comes in a combination of green and brown grained leather and is accented with goldtone hardware. To soften the style, a tassel pull was added which I think gives this bag a sexy and edgy vibe. The inside is lined with dash print fabric, with two trimmed pockets and a zip pocket.
Gold Coast Shimmer Evangeline at Kate Spade
I think this handbag could be a good alternative to a Chanel. It’s sleek and classy and definitely versatile. This is made from pebbled cowhide and the trims are coated in metallic. The hardware is gold plated. That it comes in a nude shade makes it wearable for any type of clothes.
Prada Light Blue Tweed Flap Chain Bag at Bluefly
This chain strap is sassy. It’s from Prada, so you basically have an idea of its craftsmanship. Featuring denim fabric with a contrasting stitchwork, this handbag is lined with suede inside. While it can look casual, with the right clothes this can also be a sophisticated addition to your wardrobe.
Lovely Chain Strap Bags
I think I remember these handbags released just before spring season and I thought that while the handbag designs look definitely cute, I don’t think I’d be comfortable having all my stuff exposed for everyone to see.
These transparent handbags from Prada, however, comes with a pouch, if, like me, you don’t want what’s inside your bag to be seen just like that. But I think it defeats the purpose of it. And the extra pouch can be an inconvenience for some, especially if you’re the type who just wants to stuff it all and organize what’s inside later.
Still, I’ve got to say, this handbag really does up the ante. It’s decorated with crystals, which makes this ordinary looking PVC transparent beach bag of sorts, a bit more sophisticated. And Prada’s quality for well-crafted handbags is undoubtedly something the brand is proud of. The construction of this obviously seamless.

Pop princess Rihanna has been spotted at the airport with this big and roomy denim tote from Prada.
It looks like a really handy and essential bag for travel. That it is made of denim makes this bag even easier to carry around.
I love all the room it offers inside. You can just stuff a lot of stuff in here and go, and you’re all set. The handbag’s shape and design is very basic, allowing for functionality.
But I also like that it’s versatile enough to be used for everyday. You can just take out the strap (which is made of a different material, and not it denim) and it would make a great basic piece for the summer. The detailed stitching provides a contrast that adds to the bag’s overall appeal.
According to Prada’s online store, this particular item is not available for release yet. Celebrities like Rihanna gets first dibs, I guess. But you can already pre-order this on the site. The bag goes for $983.

The minute I saw this, I was all praises for it.
Here’s another view:
This is from Prada’s Fall 2011 Collection and most of the pieces are on the colorful side, which is quite refreshing considering fall/winter pieces are usually full of blacks, browns, grays and all those dull and grabby colors.
Prada does it best and mixes darker shades with lighter contrast and I’m really digging a lot of the designs from the latest fall collection:
The designs are a take on the “quasi-innocence” with a dash of retro flair and a spunk of quirky vibe. Some of the other designs in the collection are textured with python leather and glittered surfaces. But the pieces I like most are these plain and safe ones. These are truly classics.
Prada’s handbags also flow on the simple but elegant side and this new set seals it once again.
